Brass Bach

Brass Bach

BACH represents one of the most extensive and most comprehensively researched subjects in the history of Western music: The special series of recordings marking the 250th anniversary of his death are not the only products being marketed in homage to this surely greatest composing genius in European music.

The recording by the Brass Band Oberschwaben-Allgäu in no way continues the Bach tradition in the conventional sense. In its synthesis of two seemingly quite different musical worlds, it far more sheds the new light on the timeless work of this genius.
